MEXIFRUTAS INVESTS IN THE INSTALLATION OF A PHOTOVOLTAIC SYSTEM TO GENERATE ELECTRICITY USING GREEN ENERGY

At Mexifrutas, we are committed to protecting and conserving the environment and biodiversity of each place where we operate. For this reason, and following our philosophy of continuous improvement focused on a new ecological culture; We are investing in the installation of a Photovoltaic System in our plant in Tepic, Nayarit. Which will have a power of 499.95 kW.

With the help of these panels, 30.87% of our total energy consumption will be replaced by green energy.

Thanks to this investment, we will be able to stop emitting 325 tons of CO2 annually to the atmosphere, the equivalent of planting 4,875 urban tree seedlings grown over 10 years or stop consuming 33,176 gallons of gasoline from passenger vehicles.

It is expected that the installation of this System will be completed by May this year.
